Qualified Landscaping Worker (M/F)
About the Position
We are looking for a landscaping worker (male or female) to join our team, which specializes in the maintenance, landscaping, and watering of green spaces.
If you’re passionate about working outdoors and have a genuine affinity for nature, you’ll be responsible for shaping and creating the gardens of tomorrow.
Your responsibilities:
Garden Design Section
- Prepare the soil: light excavation, loosening, adding topsoil, grading
- Plant (trees, shrubs, perennials, and grass) according to the plans and instructions provided
- Install structural elements: curbs, pavers, fences, and small landscape masonry
- Install or connect automatic sprinkler systems in conjunction with the irrigation division
- Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites (mulching, sodding, and post-project cleanup)
Garden Maintenance Services
- Prune hedges, shrubs, and ornamental trees according to the season and species
- Mowing, Aerating, and Maintaining Lawns
- Weeding, hoeing, mulching, and maintaining flower beds
- Carry out fertilization and treatments as part of an integrated biological pest management program
- Check that the automatic sprinkler system is working properly and report any problems
- Dispose of yard waste and clean up the work areas
Joint Activities
- Maintain and inspect the equipment and machinery entrusted to you (lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, small tools)
- Participate in the weekly inventory with the team leader
- Follow safety guidelines, especially when using machinery and plant protection products
- Represent the company professionally to customers in the field
- Report to the team leader and the site manager on the progress of the work and any difficulties encountered
- Proficiency in using the Altagem application to generate daily service reports
Your Profile
- CAPA/BEPA/Bac Pro in Landscape Design, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in creating and/or maintaining gardens is a plus
- Knowledge of plants and their needs (planting, pruning, care)
- Class B driver’s license required; trailer license (BE) preferred
- CACES certification for construction equipment is highly valued
- Individual Certificate for Plant Protection Products (Certiphyto)—already held or to be obtained

What We Offer

Irrigation Technician Team Leader (M/F)
About the Position
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Irrigation Technician Team Leader (M/F) to design, install, and maintain irrigation systems (automatic, drip, and sprinkler) as part of garden design and maintenance projects. You will work independently at the sites of residential and commercial clients, handling everything from the technical design phase through commissioning and ongoing system maintenance. You will be responsible for supervising 1 or 2 irrigation technicians or landscaping workers.
Your responsibilities:
Research and Design:
- Analyze the client’s needs and the characteristics of the site (area, vegetation, pressure, available water flow)
- Design a suitable irrigation system layout plan (zones, sprinkler types, programming)
- Estimate the equipment and labor requirements
Installation:
- Perform earthwork and install pipes, solenoid valves, timers, and sprinklers
- Install and connect drip irrigation, micro-sprinkler, and automatic sprinkler systems
- Perform pressure tests and programming adjustments
- Commission the system and train the customer on how to use it
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on existing facilities
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions (leaks, electrical or hydraulic problems)
- Perform winterization and seasonal startup procedures
- Adjust the programming settings according to the plants’ needs and weather conditions
- Monitor creative projects.
Organization and Customer Relations:
- Organize the team’s routes and manage the service schedule independently
- Proficiency in using the ALTAGEM application to generate service reports.
- Provide high-quality follow-up to clients and report on one’s actions
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment and the company vehicle
- Contribute to customer satisfaction and the company’s reputation in the field
Your profile:
Education and Experience:
Technical training in irrigation, hydraulics, landscaping, or equivalent
Proven experience in a similar position, ideally in landscaping or green spaces
Class B driver’s license required (daily travel to job sites)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in automatic irrigation, drip irrigation, and micro-sprinkler systems
Knowledge of hydraulics, low-voltage electricity, and programming
Ability to read blueprints and prepare quantity surveys
Knowledge of plants and their water requirements is a plus
Personal qualities:
Independence and organizational skills
Technical precision and a commitment to quality work
Strong customer service skills
Ability to take the initiative in diagnosing and resolving problems in the field
Teamwork
Conditions of practice:
Field position, visits to residential and commercial customers
Outdoor work, lifting heavy loads, exposure to weather conditions
Peak activity from spring (start-ups) through fall (winterization).
What we offer:
Permanent contract, 35 hours/week
Pay: €15 gross per hour, or €2,275.05 gross per month
Meal allowance: €10.87 per day worked
