The house next door in Puget-sur-Durance

Sophie and Yves

The wish customers

A hilltop property with breathtaking views of the Luberon and the Durance valley.

An exceptional setting… but a totally abandoned garden.

Sophie, a holistic osteopath, wanted to be able to welcome her patients in a pleasant, natural setting.

With this in mind, we designed a soothing and inspiring Provençal garden, conceived as a true place to recharge one’s batteries.

Solutions provided by our landscaping department

Working with and not

against nature

We have made a strong choice:

Respect the site and build on what already exists.

  • Selection and enhancement of existing plants
  • Pruning and restructuring existing masses
  • Natural integration into the landscape

Objective: to give the impression that the garden has always been there.

Creating a soothing atmosphere

and sustainable

The choice of plants was strategic:

  • Lavender, rosemary, perovskias
  • Sober, hardy scrubland plants
  • Yucca rostrata for a strong sculptural presence
  • Agaves to structure and reinforce the character

These plantations enable :

  • Very little watering
  • Very low maintenance
  • Highly consistent with the climate

Oleanders complete the picture, adding color in summer.
